In the summer, while working with her father's business Laura Linney was captivated with the theatre. After that, at Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which she began her acting career. Her Broadway career shortly after graduating after which she made her debut on television the following year. Her appearances have been in a variety of movies, television shows and stage productions since then. In her professional career, she has won many awards, including two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of all these accolades, her love for theater is still there constant, as she still performs in the stage and on screen.
